4.6 modules on a 2.3?

My g/f has a 92 mustang lx with the 2.3 litre motor. It has the spark modules like on the 4.6 litre motors. Would you be able to use the V8 modules on her 2.3? I was just wondering if there was anyway to pep it up the way it is, she needs the mileage because she goes to school 30 miles each way and to work 20 more miles each way. Just wondering.

I have a 91 2.3L and I got some more HP by using a K&N filter and gutting the air silencer. Does she have manual or auto? The autos won't put out for anything, but a stick puts out a little. also, put in autolite spark plugs if hers are old

I might look into the K&N, I removed her Air Silencer, and that helped a little. Will look into the plugs as well. Her car is an auto, and doesn't do for shiz. I had an 88 2.3 5 speed, and that thing would sh*t and get.
