I have a 84 gt with a 427 windser stroker 10.5 to 1 , lunati roller cam , aluminum 2.02/1.60 190cfm intake runner with a demon 750. Iam thinking of using a tremec 5-spd or should i use something else? O by the way I am using a 150 horse sniper nox system . I think my motor is about 500 hp. with 150 horse nox, Car has a narrowed 9 in. with 4.11 gears and 33 spline axles ,

I'm not too familiar with tremec, but I don't think it's going to handle that engine. That 427 should be putting out closer to 600 hp w/out the NOS. You might be better off going with a C-4 or C-6 automatic.

i agree with Bossnut. I have a Tremec currently, that i am starting to have trouble with, and i dont have the horsepower you have. Good luck.

If you want to keep it a stick, check out GForce. They can make it handle just about anything you can throw at it, they have gear options as well as your choice of dog rings, synchros, or straight cut gears for a nearly bulletproof tranny. The GForce is lighter than a Tremec, which uses a larger and heavier casing. The GForce, because it's the same size as a T5, bolts right in without all the hassle and headache of modifying the crossmember.
