1989 Mustang LX 5.0 Horsepower Estimate and 1/4 mile?
Hi I Have A 1989 Mustang Lx Hatch 5.0 5 Speed California Car 130k Miles Nothing Done Inside The Engine It Had 373's X-pipe Flows No Cats.
I Took It To The Track And Ran 14.3's At 96 Mph

i found 1 of my slips..

that was when i first got the car i drive it better now.
and it was on 18" wheels and there still on it.....


I Resently Added A Cobra Intake. 75mm maf make for 24lbs injectors. 24 lbs injectors. an ajustable fuel pressure regulator. A Bbk 65mm Throttle Body. A Bbk Cold Air Intake.
Bbk Shorty Headers. Msd 6al. hurst short shifter. underdrive pullys. and an electric fan. and a mach 1 fiberglass hood.

it also has 373's. an x pipe and flows.

i race good i take off good.
My Question Is
How Much Hp Should I Have ?
And What Quarter Mile Time Should I Expect ?

Go to the track again and test it... or hit the dyno... then let us know again... so we can tell you if it's close. you can do all that and your car still run like crap... you have to account for the driver and there mistakes also.

ok i went to the track hit a 60ft of 2.2 1/4 14.0 at 99 spining a little
then went today had a dyno went for 220hp and 263tq
to 232hp and 286 tq any adeas on how much that will help ?
