Red face A brake problem, and axle problem...

I was following a friend to have her car serviced when all the pressure in my brakes were suddenly gone. The e-brake wouldn't work, and the red brake light showed on my instrument cluster. I pulled up to the Toyota dealer (for her car) and checked my brake fluid... gone... I looked at my rear left wheel and noticed that the brakes fell off, and the caliper was hanging by the brake line. I noticed that the two screws that held the calipers in place were both missing. My friend and I went to the nearest Kragen and got those parts... I found out I need a Rear Caliper Piston Adjuster because the piston fell off. (I'm going down to the dealership today, so does anyone know if I need the Caliper Spring Compressor Set?) I was getting hassled @ the Toyota dealer (I/my car was there for about 4 hours yesterday). I ended up ruining one of the threads of the axle :o (don't ask). I'm at home and my car is on a jack/jackstands right now, parked in front of my sister's Camaro . Does anyone know if the bolts on the axle (the ones that hold the wheels in place) if they can be removed? Or are they one with the axle? My dad's going chase it today but he says that he probably won't be able to save the first three rings of the threads because they are so messed up.

You can replace wheel studs. They knock out fairly easy.

The best way to put them back in is to press them in, but that means removing the axle. You can draw them in by placing a stack of washers or a larger nut over the stud and against the flange, thread on a lug nut backwards and thighten untill the stud is seated.

I'm not sure about the caliper tool. Anyone else?
