Default anoying beeping sound!!

hello to all!! i have this realy bad beeping sound coming from behind the a/c&heat controls.there is a box 3inch by 4 inch with wires harnessed to it.and it is right behind the a/c controls.when ever i turn the key to the on position it starts to beep.it does this when the key is on running or not!!has any body here ever dealt with sumtin like this??i'm guessing i need to replace this box.but i dont even no wut it is called.

Have you tried buckling your seat belt?

ty for the post back!!but yes i have tried this it is a constant beeping..once inawhile it will stop.so far the only thing i have found that works for this is turning up the radio lol!!

I have had that happen twice now. Both times it was a burned out bulb in the instrument panel. That's probably your problem. Good luck.

lol about the bomb!!! i think i wud have blown up by now lol!!!I remember i had to rewire my fusible link coming from the alternator goin to the battery.but does any body no wut this lil box behind the a/c controls is called??

I believe it's called a module, but not 100% sure. The beeping is a warning that you have a bulb out, unless the module is bad.
