Exclamation Need Help - What is this?

I have a line that runs from the input tube for oil (passanger side valve cover) to above my TB. What is this tube for and why does it keep popping off as shown. Please take a look at the photos...

Thanks

That's a simple pcv tube. If you can plug the hole in the throttle body, you'll be fine without out it.

Question

Any tips on pluging the hole on the TB? Could this cause oil blow by in the exaust?

If this were my car I would epoxy the fitting back on to the throttle body with some JB Weld. I wouldn't plug the hole. If you have a visible engine bay inspection for emissions in your state, they will fail you when they spot this hole plugged. Also leaving this hose loose may introduce dirt into the crankcase. ---Chuck
