Anderson Ford makes some of the best cams in the buisness. I would give them a call directly, tell them what mods you have/what you are planning and they will suggest the perfect cam. I don't know which magazine it was 5.0 or "the other", but they just did an entire thing on cams...maybe last month. Andersons are really good!!

Another place to look would be FlowTech Induction Systems (FTI) and talk to Ed Curtis. They make great custom camshafts.

The only thing I have against the Anderson cams is that they do not release any spec's. If I was going to pay $269.00 on a "custom" camshaft that even my next door neighbor can call up and order I would at least want a good cam card. If you talk to anybody who knows anything about camshafts what is the first thing they ask? What is the duration at .050. With an Anderson cam all your going to be able to say is N-71 Hi-Rev. The first thing that should catch your eye when reading down through the cam descriptions is the RPM range on the them. Brows through your JEGS or Summit book and try to match up a cam just by RPM range. Of course this is all just IMO.

Anderson has a great cam reputation especially blower cams. But if you really want a good set up, custom cams in my opinon are the way to go. That way it's specifically designed for your set up and combo. I have a blower set up and I use to have a E-303 cam in my last engine and I went with a custom grind blower cam and I chose the numbers for my own set up. www.MPGheads.com or Cam Research one in the same. They did my cam and it's sweet!Good Luck!

No Anderson cams but 340 other profiles can be searched at:

Yea, sorry, the database was down for a few days but it's up now.

I would recommend that you do all the proting and polishing work on your heads and put them on a flow bench before you choose your cam profile... Remember that we're in the game for FLOW and lots of it! Go to a reputable company that will release the cam profiles, such as lunati or crane, and go roller- the more overlap you have between the intake and exhaust durations the better flow (although worse gas mileage) you will receive. Don't be afraid of all the "rough idle" rumors about the roller setups. You get a wonderfully lopey growl out of the exhaust and a setup such as this will spank many a ricer and bowtie heathen (plus make piles of horsepower and flow)!
