Default 4.6/5.4 Heads, Stroker kits? Forged or Billet?

Hey Fellas,

Can heads for a 4.6L/281CID be used on a 5.4L/330CID? I think it would be cool to get an engine from a 1997/up f-150 and stuff it into an sn95. If what i've heard about the interchangeability of the 4.6/5.4 heads, that would be grerat--you could utilize the aftermarket for both the Lightning f-150 and the Cobra (God I love SVT, don't you?

Anyone know of a supplier for stroker kits for the 5.4 and what material are they made of? What kind of boost and nitrous can I run on a forged steel bottom end, and how 'bout that billet steel?

Anyone know if the screw type s/c for the svt lightning can be utilized on the 5.4 DOHC heads for the navigator?

Who wouldn't want a DOHC 5.4, stroked out to about 400CID, flowing like a mofo with about 15 psi and a bulletproof bottom end? (God I love motorsports!)

You can check Sean Hyland Motorsports or Paul's... Stroker kits for the mod motors are hard to find since they have very limited space and long strokes anyway. I think that if I had a 5.4L I wouldn't lessen the airflow by installing 4.6L DOHC heads. I've read about a 4.6L to 5.0L stroker... let me see if I can find it somewhere...
