Hey guys, i'm lookin to buy this car. It looks like it's had a hard life. My friend is a banker and they repo'd this car in april. It's been sitting ever since. The guy owed like 24K on it and now i am in the running to get it for about 10grand less!

Some things i noticed and got pics of.

KB Boost a Pump; if someone could tell me about this as far as where its' set at (safe?) I know what it is as far as function. Anything to look out for or just random knowledge?!

Pulley; It has 293 on it. I assume this is a 2.93. What's stock? What is the boost on this pully? The gauge in the cluster goes past 10psi at WOT.

Vortech; intercooler reservoir? Battery is relocated (lol, duh) into trunk. Notice the connection at the top of pic, it's tapped together somehow. It NEEDS to be redone bad.

Injectors; insight? I noticed the wires coming from injecters are white, both wires. To me that means aftermarket. Any idea what kind of rating on them.

these are all common mods on a 03 cobra . the smaller pulley makes more boost to handle that you need bigger injector and to feed them you need the boostapump. the 2nd from last looks like a after market after cooler and you can get for 14000 that a steal what id would look for is any badging on the supercharger if it a kenney bell that is a very desirable mod and alone cost about $4000 the fist thing to do would be to get it to a good tuner to make sure its not running lean on full boost

Thanks for the input! The car is at JMS right now getting worked on. I bought a LFP Intercooler reservoir (to replace the vortech), LFP Dual Pass H/E.

I dropped it off at JMS monday to have the stage 3 pkg done, which includes dyno tune, ported blower, pulley/belt, and intake. The car already has the pulley and intake; when i got down there Steve pointed out it already had a steigemeir ported blower too. So, he's going to dyno tune it and make sure the KB BAP is set right and get it rolling. I'll put a new CAI later also.

I'll report back later with results!!
