Default Brake rotor question.

I just bought new brake parts and the right front rotor is odd. The inside surface is thicker than the outside. I measured the ones on it and both fronts are the same thickness inside, outside, and overall. The new ones are the same overall width. It's a 2003 gt, they are slotted and cross drilled, if that makes any difference.

ETA: My cousin owns an import repair shop, and he says I should take the one back. My question here is, should one be like that or should I return the odd one.

Thanks for any help.
Mike

Definitely take that odd-ball back. It seems like that thing got past their quality control. Brake parts need to match side to side. It's a good thing that you noticed this. ---Chuck
