Default 1986 Mustang Has No Spark, Any Suggestions?

hey ive got this 86 5.0 it has no power to fuel pump when key is on and also no spark. i have replaced the module and tested for power there is power to coil and dist but still no spark what could it be thanks.

First I'd check both relays, one under the driver seat and the one down below the computer in the kickpanel. Both could've polarized and killed itself. For the spark, I'd check the wiring to the coil, then go from there. Sounds like the coil may have checked out on you. If it did, it could've caused a spike and that could kill the relays.

thanks for the info i have checked all relays and they are all good.
i have changed the module and pickup in the dist and still cant get a spark out of it even swapped the coil.
there is power to the dist and coil it just dont seem to get the signal to fire the coil.

anyone got any other ideas

Hmm..sounds like the computer may be bad and not telling module to fire...not sure what to do to check other than swaping out computer with another..

well i have put in a new computer checked relays and still no spark and fuel pump doesent come on when key is turned on any other ideas out there
