popping noise and pulling to the right when braking
My stang has been pulling to the right when I brake. The harder I brake, the harder the pull. then after I have been driving for a while, a popping/grinding sound comes from the front passenger side wheel when I stop completely and then accelerate again....at least I think its the wheel..after i have driven it longer it starts making the grinding sound every time I turn the wheel. the main time i can hear it tho is when I come to a complete stop and go begin going again. I think it may be the calipers but am not quite sure..would love some input.

it sounds like a frozen caliper, bad break pads or wheel bearing. just take off the wheel and check to see if there is a even wear pattern on the rotor .A rusty rotor is a sure sign of a frozen open caliper check both sides for this and before you take of the wheel see if its spins freely will on the jack if it does not your caliper might be stuck closed or your wheel bearings are shot hope this helps
Mine did the same thing and I went with lincoln Mark series calipers and a set of Bendix Ceramic pads part number D199. I really like this set up. I flush out all the old fluid while I had the calipers off and the new pads have absolutely no brake dust. My old metallic pads would have me cleaning my wheels once a week!
Thats if you have a fox.

OOORAAHH!!!
Your calipers are of the floating design where there is movement of the caliper when the brakes are applied. Over a period of time the track where the pads slide gets filled with brake dust and dirt, restricting the movement. There is also two bolts that secure the caliper to the caliper bracket. The ends of these bolts are supposed to have lubricant on them where they slide into the bracket and the rubber boots between the caliper and bracket need to be intact to retain this lubricant. (it's usually a silicone hi-temp grease) I've seen these completely frozen up and one pad will show much more wear than the other.
