Default Fox Suspension In A 1968 Mustang Coupe?

Hi, I have a '68 coupe that I plan on restomoding for my son. I have access to a rolling chassis fox body hatchback. I am wondering if anyone has ever used the fox suspension, brakes, powertrain, etc... in a '68 era coupe. Just trying to avoid a disaster before it strikes or make a project a little easier!

The entire powertrain can be used but the suspension more than likely cannot due to the different frame and mounting points. Not advised to use the brakes either. The 68 is a bigger and heavier model and the factory Fox brakes are rather wimpy to begin with. Put them on the 68 and they wouldn't be up to par. I advise against it. But the powertrain, thumbs up on.

It is an easy 5lug disk brake conversion you are wanting to do the front brakes stuff you can use granada, vercallies spindles and calipers also you can utilize the brake booster off of it as well . When doing this you HAVE to use a v8 grag link and tierod ends or else they will not fit the spindles properly. and for the rear (at least in this area) the 8inch 5 lug rear ends out of these cars are plentifull for a couple hundred bucks. The last one i did i got everything needed from one salvage yard for $325 and they pulled it

I agree, but I wouldn't bother with a junkyard when you can get a new Granada setup from discbrakeswap.com for $550. The yards around here were charging $100+ for a beat up Granada setup and I'd have had to put $360 or so in new parts. I ended up with a Scarebird Mechaincal kit that is no longer made and I like it.
