Ford OEM remanufactured water pump.

The pump is marked "F2SE-8505-CA." The box is marked "F1SZ-8501-AX." Someone wrote "8 cyl w/aluminum housing" on the box.



It is the same water pattern as my 94 mustang gt 5.0 HO, but the pulley bolt pattern and shaft are bigger then my original.



I know the 91-94 t-bird has the same water pattern, but not sure about the pulley issues!!!!


Does anybody know what this pump fits???? Thanks for the help!!!!

I find this for F2SE-8505-CA - COOLING PART-CAPS , no more information or any detail , car , model or year. For F1SZ-8501-AX the motorcraft interchange guide pages no found nothing: (Sorry, there were no parts found for that lookup.)

The number that is on the pump housing is the engineering number. It is not the part number. Even though the series of numbers and letters resemble one another, they serve different purposes.

In Ford circles the 8000s refer to cooling system parts. All parts related to cooling are listed under this, radiators, hoses, fans ect. The number 8501 is correct for a water pump.

F1SZ = 1991, Part first used during this year.
S = Thunderbird, Originally used on this car.
Z = Service part

F1SZ-8501-A water pumps fits 1991 to 1993 T-bird and Cougar wth a 5.0
a 1994/1995 Mustang wth a 5.0 use a F4ZZ-8501-B water pump

and the "X" at the end just denotes that its a re-maned part
