Default Will 2001 Mustang Bullitt Wheels Fit A 1966 Mustang?

Can anyone help? I have a 1966 V8 Coupe and have the chance of some Bullitt wheels from a 2001 GT. The seller claims they are 17x8 and with 245(f) and 275(r) tyres. Will they fit my 1966 coupe? Will they catch the arches or struts? I believe i would need a 1" spacer, is this true?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Yes, that's correct, you will need a 1" spacer. The tires might be too big, I'd check out dodgestang.com/mustang and see what size tires others are using.
