Default G-Force or Tremec TKO600 in a 1970 Mustang?

I have a 1970 Mustang with a 393 stroker that will be making around 450Hp at the flywheel and 500 ft-lbs of torque. I really like the idea of installing a T5 tranny since the Tremec TKO will require either cutting the transmission tunnel to get the ideal driveline angle or having the back of the engine tilted about 1" lower than stock and not cutting the tunnel and having the driveline angle screwed up. Does anyone have any expierence with the G-Force T5's? I won't be able to plant all the power to the payment even though I am running Caltrac traction bars. Will I be walking that fine line going with the G-Force tranny? G-Force states on there website that they are safe with 600hp or 500 ft-lbs of torque in a 3300 lb vehicle. I could see this to be an issue with my engine output if I was running slicks and would stick all the hp and torque to the pavement. The car will be driven on the street, not at the track. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

The G Force is about as strong the Tremec. It has gear ratio options, shifting options, is lighter than the Tremec and is the same size as a T5 tranny, which means it's smaller than the Tremec... read: easier install. G Force uses a different type material for their parts, yet making it strong. Tremec uses carbon steel but the parts are huge to make them stronger, making the case huge, which makes it very heavy. The G Force can handle your engine with no problem.
