I drove home from work last thur. without any problems, Went out fri. morning to start and all it did was crank no fire. I was reading through this sites forum questions and everybody was sayind that the TFI was the problem, I changed that and nothing changed. It will fire for a second with starting fluid but dies right away.. Ijust changed the fuel pump last night and it fired twice with starter fluid only and now i don't even get that.. As far as i know the only mods are a GT-40 upper and lower intake,e7 heads, underdrive pullys, AC eliminator kit, copuer out of an 87 GT, an offroad H pipe that I modified to put a set of cats on for emisions. I have only had the car for a month now and it;s driving me crazy. Please help.

I'd now check the coil for proper operation. Sounds like it's quit on you.

I don't mean to be a smart ass, but did you check to make sure you didnt just run out of gas? I say this cuz the exact same thing happened to a friend once. Uh, ya, a friend, not me of course. Car ran fine, turned the engine off, next day it wouldn't start. After much investigating the problem turned out to be an empty gas tank. Good luck!

I had filled the tank the morning befor it stopped running. It was still full when i did the fuel pump and made sure to put the gas back when i was done with the fuel pump.
