Pro-5.0 short shifter feedback

Has anyone out there had any experience with the Pro-5.0 short shifter mechanism? If so, what do you think of it? Any tips on the installation?

yes! easy to install. love the feedback when shifting gears, always positive. Only downside. handle too short

My brother and I installed one in his 89 and he had only one hang up, the very short handle has almost no angle to it, making the upshift to 5th quite a reach. Mechanically, it's the best feeling shifter but he added a Steeda Tri Ax handle and now it's perfect.

Anyone looking at a short throw shifter should look at the MGW thread. The testimonials there from 5.0 and Steeda users who have tried or switched to the MGW are very convincing. I have had my MGW installed for a week now and it is awesome. The length of shifts are adjustable as are the height and angle of the shifter handle. The components of the shifter are the highest quality that I have ever seen from an aftermarket piece of equipment and the customer service is outstanding.
