I have a 96 GT, i dont know what mods have been done to it. I just know i heard a bad rattling under my car. I had i checked out and was told it was the rear stabilizer bar. The question i had is do i have to have this to drive the car. At least take it off to stp th rattling until i can get a new one. Is this part a nessessity to the car? Thanks

You can take it off, you'll notice more body roll and less cornering ability. You'll be fine till it gets replaced and it's recommended that it is replaced rather than just omitted.
