I'd go for the DRs on the street...

I was an Engneer who designed some of the M/T Tires. The ET Streets are the best choice for the strip for DOT class racing but the Drag Radials would be your best choice for the street. They will do well on the strip but not like the ET STreets which are a bias construction.

I must disagree. ET Streets bias ply are also DOT legal and are the best choice for DOT class racing, IMHO. The DRs are better for the street.

I invented the internet.

The street have efficient traction minimal road nose. The problem you would encounter with the Drag slicks is much faster wear. You see the Mickey Thompson like any other Drag slick will have a softer compound. Why? Because at the track you do not want tires spinning losing you take-off time and handling.

If you go to the track allot then you will probably be best suited for Drag slicks, on the other hand if you like your daily driver than I would tell you to go with the Street Radials.

Best Wishes’,
Doug
