whats the diffrence between a coupe and vert when ito comes to lowering springs?

i need to buy some lowering springs, but i keep seeing notes like this in bold letters: 4 & 6 Cyl. & V8 Excludes Convertible. Lowering Kit lowers the Front 2.0" and the Rear 2.0"

whats the diffrence between a coupe and a vert when it comes to suspension.

Weight of the Convertible is higher so the average spring drops 1/4"-1/2"

Hey bro! I put eibach lowering springs for vert in my 94 gt vert and it sits perfect! Only problem is when putting it on the lift you got to have someone pull of the frount fender becuase it hits the arm on the lift. Rides reral nice too!
