What slicks / size should I use

I have no clue about what size slick and front tires to use on my mustang for the 1/4 mile. I have a 302 with about 350 HP and plan on running a TCI C-6 streetfighter tranny (no transbrake) and maybe 3:73 or 4:10 gears.

Maybe I should just use stock and see if I can launch them off the rims to the guys in the tower!!

Start out with a 275/60 series. Those will give a lot of traction, and will take the shock of launch better too. At this point, those should be wide enough.
For the front, you can get some 165/60 on some 3 1/2-4 inch wide wheels.
