Default New brakes and not stopping well!!! 2000 Mustang

Just replaced the front calipers, 2000 3.8 stock, and bleed the system. It still feels spongy, and does not stop well at all. Almost takes twice the distance to stop. New pads. Would this have something to do with the master cylinder or booster? Need help, stumped!

make sure system is bled well, most new pads require a break in,then they should stop normal.

I don't think it's the pads, I bled them till I saw no air and that thte old fluid was out. And these brakes suck. When you press down on the pedal it feels like the brakes are barely working. Like you're stopping in slow motion. Once you get to a certain point they feel spongy. They just don't grip, they have never felt that good but after doin gthe work they feel even worse. I will try bleeeding again but I don't know if that's it.

back brakes are in good condition, still lots left. I am using PFC carbon metalic pads on the front. Never used before, used to hawk pads which I use on my other car. There is just no grip, hardly at all, can not lock them. No break in is this bad.

You said "til u see no air" that does not mean there is no air though lol. try bleeding the brakes old school. Just open the fitting about 1/4 to 1/2 a turn then get someone to hold brake pedal to floortighten the fitting back then tell them to let go of pedal. note: " you can do one side or both sides at the same time. try that bro

Do you see any wetness on the brake booster behind the master cylinder? You should not have to bleed brakes unles you replaced a caliper or line etcetera. Are the rotors under spec?if they are,you could be getting the brakes too hot, which could cause brake fade. Thus the brakes getting worse the longer you drive.
