Default runs great/ wont start

Hi, i have a 1971 mustang, it has a 1989 5.0 carberated, eltronic ign.
everything is new, i worked on this car for a few hours monday night, it ran great, everytime i turned the key it started right up. came back the next day would not start, put more gas in it and played around with it alittle (timing/ carb adjustmet) got it running great again. got up this morning tried to start it ,it started right up. yay. but then i went home at lunch and it just turns over and over no start. i'm getting gas, i got fire to the plugs, any ideas? it did the same thing yesterday, runs great when i go to bed, wont start the next day. please help.

thanks david
