2001 Mustang Cobra battery runs down 4 days

How long should the battery stay charged when car is not driven. It runs down in less than a week, It wont turn the insturment on.
Changed battery, Checked everything I can think of. Need help EMAIL is thescarbs@hotmail.com I need help. Wonderful car just wont start.

Check out the door switches mine were defective and drained the battery if the car sat for a week or so. If your dome light takes forever to cut off after u close it then this may be the problem.

Does it have an aftermarket alarm or anything else that's electrical added? I had an alarm installed a few years back on my 95GT, after that, if my car sat for a few days, it would drain the battery.
