Default windshield wiper linkage tools?

What kind of tool do i need to separate the little ball joints on the windshield wiper linkage and how do i reinstall? please help its raining ice!!

Are you asking how to take the wipers off? You see a little metal tab on the top of the mount and pull it out slightly, that releases the tension on the mount and you can get the arm off then. To reinstall you just push the arm back on it but it might take a few tries to get them back in the right position, there's many splines on the shaft and just one can change the arm angle.

no the metal linkage under the cowl broke so only the passenger side wiper works and it is all connected with tiny ball joints. I made a new piece but i cant seem to get the little buggers apart without braking them
