Default transmission question
will the transmission off a 1983 3.8 v6 bolt up to a 1990 5.0 ho?

You would have to change the bellhousing but you wouldn't want to do this swap anyway. If it's made to go behind a V6, you put it behind a 5.0 you'll break it rather easily. It isn't worth doing this swap in my opinion.
