I have a 1968 ford mustang with a 7-1/4 inch rear end. I was wondering if an 8 inch rear end and the 7 1/4 inch rear end are interchangeable and i wouldn't need to change any rear suspension components.

A 67-70 8" or 9" is a direct swap. You probably need new leaf springs tho
