Default Need Help with Vents Not Working

I have hit a wall trying to figure out how to fix my vent issue. The heat and A/C work, but it will only come out the top defrost vents. I have checked the vacuum hoses and cannot find one leaking, cracked, etc.... I replaced the A/C valve switch and that did not help either. The only hose I found to replace was EGR-related. Can anyone give me a clue as to where to look or fix?

I have a 1997 Mustang w/a 3.8L V6 engine.

Thanks,

Vic

Did you check the vacuum hoses on your firewall?

Default Where on the Firewall?

I found that on the passenger side, in the engine compartment, there were some items going through the firewall. However, the only hose I found damaged, I replaced and that did not help. Am I looking at the correct side of the firewall?

Thanks,

Vic
