The 2006 Rhinebeck Car Show is coming up. The dates are May 6 & 7. This is the 36th annual show located in Rhinebeck, New York and has over 1000 vendor spaces (both days). It is at the Rhinebeck Fairgrounds on Rt9 just North of the village of Rhinebeck. The Saturday show is for Rods, Customs, or Imports. Heavily modded Mustangs of all years are acceptable for the Saturday show. The key being well modified since all the cars on Sat. are modded. The Sat. show brings out around 500 to 600 cars on a nice weekend. The Sunday show is for unmodified cars up to 1980. This limit set because of the physical limits of the Fairgrounds. On a nice weekend we have had up to 1300 cars on Sunday. There is quality, reasonably priced food available and, being a family show, there are areas of crafts, etc set up for the ladies that are not car inclined. If there is nice weather, it would be hard to think of a better destination for a car person! This is the first "official" show in the Northeast and one of the/ if not the largest.
