I went to the local car show today and there was a younger guy there, maybe 19, with around an '84 Capri. Anyways, I thought it had a 429/460, but when I asked him which it was he relied 351 Cleveland. I never even thought of it, ive seen maybe 2 Clevelands in my short life up close in a car, and I know what they look like, I just never considered that maybe it was a Cleveland. Anyway, I overheard him talking about buying a 429 from one of the other guys there and when he left it was smoking a little so im thinking that the Cleveland maybe needs a valve guide. Anyway, if you are the guy with this engine or know him, I was wondering if you/he wants to sell it. Im going again next week and then the week after, hoping to see him again to ask if he wants to sell. It had the 4 bbl intake and it was all original factory peices painted Ford blue, so it must have the 4 bbl heads too. Anyone have any info?
