LMMC-CT's First Club Meet of 2007!

Join us as we start the year off in style and welcome all our renewing LMMC-CT Club Members & prospective new recruits at this season opening event!

Cost: $10 at the door

Event Details:
This season is set to be our best year ever so come join us the afternoon of February 25th and help kick off LMMC-CT's 2007 season with some good food, great times, and even better people!

On our buffet style menu will be Sausage & Peppers, Tortellini, Baked Ziti, Texas Toast, & Salad. We'll also have desert table with brownies, cookies, and cakes. Soda and other drink will be provided. You should bring your own alcoholic beverages if you plan to drink. We will have several coolers on ice for you to store you drinks.

There are pool tables and some other games on site for those interested.

We'd like to use this time for our members to get together before our larger events to get better acquainted. We'd also like to welcome all of our new members to the Club and introduce them to as many people as possible. This is also a great time for those of you that have still not decided to become members to come out and see what we are all about. Since we do so much more than just events related to our hobbies!

At this meet we also plan to hand out the 2007 LMMC-CT Membership Packages to all new 2007 members in attendance. We'll also briefly discuss the events planned for the year and take and answer any questions that you may have about these events.

With all that said we're planning on this event being a huge success and are asking that all current Club Members come out and show your support and help welcome our new members and those planning on joining the Club!

In order to properly plan for food, you MUST be on the list for attendance.

Please only reply if you intend on attending so that we can get an accurate account of people for food and supplies. If you plan on coming with a date or friend please also be sure to mention that. I will add a list shortly and keep it updated with the people attending.

Hey Pete,
I really enjoy LMMC-CT car show and boards. But living where I live in Mamaroneck, how feasible is it to attend a lot of the car events. The car show takes me 1.5 hours to get to. lol Me googles Stratford.

Hey Julian - the car show is definitely a hike for those of us in NY (it's actually 2hrs for me) but the Moroso facilities is an amazing facility and they are a great sponsor for the club so that is why they are our host.

The rest of our events are scattered throughout the state - some are in Hartford, some in Waterbury, some in the Danbury/Fairfield area. The clubs annual camping trip is in Litchfield and is always a hit.

We've also done a cruise up the Taconic that was a big hit and was an amazing site to see that many mustangs side by side twisting through the trees.

Basically I try to move events around so there is something for everyone and they're not just in one area of the state since we have a lot of members from NY and MA as well.

Pete, the moroso car show is awesome..I will be hiking up with a few of the usual, Bill, Greg, and Tim....I really enjoy that show. If time works itself out, I will try and attend the Feb 25th event, I am really interested in joining the club, I just fear having a new baby and a 2 year old would restrict me to a lot of things. Hope to see you soon.
