Thumbs up Mustang "Chocolate Cruise" Sun 9/30 for my Grandaughter

Hi Guys,

Sunday I have a small Mustang Cruise for my Grandaughter planned through VT and NH.

I'm calling it the "Chocolate Cruise" since we are stopping at Burdicks in NH at the end.

She loves Mustangs and she wasn't able to make it to our last Cruise down in CT, so I made up an impromptu one up here.

You guys are welcome to come along if you like!

We're meeting 11am Sunday 9/30 at Basketville in Putney (1 mile from x4 off I-91 on Rt5 N - on the outside chance that somebody never heard of the place)

We're meeting in the upper parking lot.

She doesn't know that ANYBODY else is coming so it should be a big surprise even if there are just a few other cars.

Thanks
SOHC

Wish I could join you. A bit far from Tennessee, however. Then again, I LOVE CHOCOLATE!

Distance is only an issue if you don't like chocolate!

Hey Bob,
I got my Stang back yesterday. It looks good . I plan on attending your cruise . My son Jake will also be attending. As soon as he heard "chocolate factory" he was hooked! So atleast the two of us will be attending. I most likely will get Denise to come also now that Jake wants to go. See you at or before 11am Sunday.

Unfortunately, that's just too far for me to get out to for the day. Wish I could, since they look like they make some good stuff, and I'd love to check out your mustang. You've got the set-up I've been thinking about going with. Love to hear it in person.

Hi RSD,

I'm around most weekends.

If you're ever coming down this way give me a head's up.

I'd be glad to meet you somewhere so you could check out the Pypes setup in person.

Good morning Bob,
I plan on leaving Waterbury around 9:30am to meet you in Putney. I'll be coming down 91S to exit 4. When I get off at that exit do I take a right or left at the end of the ramp? I have your cell# so I'll give you a call if I am running late or somehow get lost. I was told by a co worker that I can't miss Basketville so that's encouraging. I believe it's going to be just Jake and Myself though. My wife's Grandfather is throwing a BBQ this afternoon so she is going to represent our household .

Yup,

Take a Right onto Rt 5.

Go up the hill.

About a mile ahead on the right.

I'm going out to mop my car off...

Bob

Cool beans brother...I'll be on my way in about an hour. Gotta go wake up Jake and do a little last minute detailing myself. I spent about 2 hours cleaning the Mustang in and out yesterday afternoon. It's a shame that it is almost impossible to keep dirt and pebbles out of your interior up here in Vermont. Not to mention dust off your freshly washed Mustang either . If my wife wouldn't accuse me of being ridiculously insane I'd ask people to take off their shoes before they get into my Mustang. A woman at work has a brother who has a mint 1968 GT and he does make people take off their shoes before getting in his Stang...he even gives them slippers to wear while in it ...seriously! If my Stang were brandy-new and not 7 years old I might have considered this option...oh yeah and if I didn't have a wife who would leave me if I did .

Well it was a "small" cruise, but we had fun!

2 stangs and an F150 chase truck.

Some shots at our stop at the Vermont Country Store on RT103.

Putfile - SOHCman's homepage.

We changed the route and the roads were awesome!

We will be definitely using the same route next year.
