Default Hey MA Drivers

Hey everyone, Just bought my first mustang back in September, I never realized what a community there was for stang drivers, i've learned more about my car in the last few months than I have my whole life. Just wanted to shout out a hello to all fellow stang drivers out in NewEngland especially in the Southern MA area, look forward to talking with some of you about stangs, the best car ever created!!!

Welcome to the wild world of the Ford Mustang Mark. I was talking with some of my local Stang buddies and we plan on making a day trip down to the Cape this spring/summer. If you also check out www.stangnet.com you'll find lots more posts and info on Mustangs. Best of luck with your Stang and I hope we can meet up and establish some Cape Cod Stang events this summer. I have a friend who has a home down in West Yarmouth so it is a little familiar to me (the area). Take care

Thanks, lets hope the summer traffic doesn't stop the gallop of the stangs over the bridges. I actually live in West Yarmouth maybe I know your friend, a little six degrees of seperation. You'd be surprised at all the stangs down here despite all the sand and salt air! Then again, there are alot of Lexus' and import drivers as well. (The kind with white hair that you push off the road when they go 25 in a 40.)

Hello Mark,
My friends name is Paul Autenzio....his family uses the house down there year round..but mostly in the summer. I don't even know the name of the street to be honest with you. I know it's not too far from the Police Station. I haven't been there in a couple of years. We were best friends our senior year in highschool, but you know how things go, he's married now and owns his own Company and has several children and we both have are own lives. I speak to him once in a while. Maybe we can all hook up and hit the Mill Hill or something some time. I'll keep my eyes open on this site as the better weather arrives.
Peace-out,
-David

Humm, the name doesn't ring a bell. But The Police Station! I bet you're thinking the old one on rt28. I live right next to that just down the street. They actually just built a new police station on Higgens Crowell by the Middle School, so don't speed (too much) when you're comming off the highway, there's always a cruiser in thier lot! Mill Hill would be cool, a game of pool or something. I'll keep my eye on here for a meet.

Cool, The Police Station I remember was next to a 7/11 and across from what, at the time, was the new 99's restaurant. Am I correct or just dreaming :o ?

Haha The New 99 is now 3 years old or so now. Alot's changed, I dunno if the Christies was there, but yea, the new Station was moved up the road. I haven't been pulled over yet, even with Rio Red! *Knock on wood* By the way, your car is kick ass can't wait to see it. I really need some mods so I can at least say something nice about my V6 when a stanger asks me about it

Reesh...has it been that long . I was down there about ...yeah 2 summers ago with a girl i was going out with. You're right, it was alot different from what I remembered it as back in highschool. Bye the way what exit would I get off at to get to West Yarmouth. I didn't take the right one last time and luckily stumbled upon it. Some basic directions from you would go a long way in my returning to the area this spring/summer. I'd be coming in from route 93 heading south from Boston. The best mods for your car would definitely be gears and an exhaust system. The gears are the biggest bang for the buck with the Stangs. Is your Stang a standard shift or automatic? Anywho...I have to get ready for work now. type to you later,Mark

Ahh well, from 93 south just keep on going. 93 turns into Route 3, and 3 turns into Route 6 over the Sagamore bridge straight through to Hyannis, you shouldn't need to make any road changes. The West Yarmouth Exit is 7. I don't know if you're comming from before exit 44 (on route 93s) or after. But if you don't want to go through Boston, you can always take 495 south all the way to the Bourne bridge, run along the canal and then onto route 6.

For modding i'm definatly going with the gears right off the bat, then maybe a Transgo shift kit or something similar for my auto to get thoose harder shifts. I really wish I had gone with a Manual, in about two or three years i'm going to see what I can do about a trade in anyway (that's when I pay off this car loan) and go 99+ so I'm not going to do too much to this car. (Like exhaust) Just some swaps and bolt ons that aren't too expensive.

I read in your profile that you're in Biotech? What do you do, Agriculture, Genetics or a little of both?
