With Winter Fast Approaching, Its impostant for our group to look at activites which we can to over then winter to keep our minds of what horrible weather we have.

I am looking at organizing a Catered dinner and DJ'ed Dance for Mind November. I have yet to confirm a date or venue, but I am working on this right now.

There will of course be cost associated with this and there for there will have to be tickets sold. Again the cost will reflect the number of people signed up.

What I need from you guys is an early count to determine a rough number of people.

This should be a fun night of great food, friends, music & Bar service.

OK well of course myself and Lesley are in, So we have 6 confirmed so far to day, off to a great start. I just got back from the HMCS cabot building on the south side, It Looks as though this will be are venue, just waiting on some final confirmation. Nov 14th is the tenitive date, I will be shopping for a caterer over the weekend and will hopefully have a ticket price for you shortly there after, as of right now the venue is very very cheap which will keep cost at a minimum.

Who else out there is interested in comming?? and how many tickets will you need???

For now i would like to keep it to the Members of our club, only because i want to make sure there is room for everyone that wants to come. That being said, after a week of this post running, i will then open it up to extra guests of members.

And just to be clear for everyone this is an open event to all who use our forum and/or attend our meetings or cruises. No matter if you have been with us from the start or just started using the site yesterday. Please reply here If you would like to attend and if you will be taking a guest.

Hey Paula,

Venue is confirmed for Nov 14th, at HMCS Cabot. Please Everyone note that i will need to know if you are going or not by Oct 29th, thats a week from today. That is the deadline.

As for caterer, i am still looking. Getting closer to confirming something.

A mass email is now written and i hope Scott can send this out shortly.

update....i almost have the caterer nailed down now and it appears the total cost of the ticket (room & food) should only be between $20 - $30 each. Which is great!
