Just wondering how many Newfie's we have onboard?

I'm from St. John's, Newfoundland myself. Spent a couple of years in Halifax before moving to Toronto for almost 10 years then back to the rock. Living in Long Beach, California right now but sure miss the east coast of Canada, especially Newfoundland!

I am father of Rob who is doing a 4cyl to 5.0L conversion on a 91 Fox coup. Good coverage on Targa Newfoundland Scott. We live in a town called Paradise just outside of St. Johns. It's called Paradise because we have more gear heads and cool rides here than anywhere in North America. Come visit us you all.

Something else about Newfoundland......
Do you all know that the first Mustang off the assembly line back in 1964-5 was delivered to St. John's Newfoundland.......Yup, if anyone wants to challenge that, take it up with Scott. He will verify it is true.

I have pics of that car from last summer when I was at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn.
It still has the NF license plate on it.

Hi Pete,

Good to hear from you. Man, that seems like awhile ago. How did everything work out with the supercharger? I still have Red Ragtop the supercharger came off of. Have plans to have a 331 stroker built and installed by mid summer.

Otherwise its heads down working on our AFM website. Just finished posting another fellow Newfoundlander, Mel Gregory's Mustang as our new feature car. Have you had a chance to check it out. I think you might also know Mel since he has been pretty activer in the Mustang and Drag racing community back home for some time. Here's a link to his feature:

I never did hook up the supercharger. It's in the garage in a box layed next to the stang. For that matter I haven't had the car out in about three years. I'm starting to get the bug again now!

I have meet Mel a few times at the local track and cruise nights. He has certainly done a good job with the car.
