Vaughn Gittin ran into a bit of bad luck at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for round four of Formula Drift 2009, but he still increased his points ranking. At the wheel of a 2010 Falken Tire Ford Mustang, Gittin managed to avoid potential disaster in qualifying and snag a top sixteen finish.

Finishing in the top 16 is still pretty darn good. I think Vaughn finished well considering it was not his best race. Plus the finish still moved him up in the points race. Perfect!
