We all know the benefits of headers. The improved flow of exhaust that larger, specially tuned pipes offer almost always translates into more horses. That is what the research and development team at BBK have been pursuing for the 2011 Ford Mustang line. Looks like they have caught it.

New numbers for the company’s direct-fit, tuned-length headers show horsepower gains across the board. The R&D team at BBK recently announced the introduction of their all new line of performance exhaust products for the hot new 2011 Mustang 5.0 GT and V6 models.

Take a first look at the all new 2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 BBK 1-3/4” direct fit tuned length headers and replacement after cat high flow 2-3/4” X pipe. (sold separately)
BBK R&D department developed this header with one thing in mind – Getting even more horsepower and torque out of the all new 2011 5.0 liter Mustang that is already putting out nearly twice the horsepower of its 5.0 predecessor!
This all new rugged BBK header design is constructed with 1-3/4” CNC Mandrel-Bent tubing and solid 3/8” laser cut exhaust flanges.
Initial testing is showing gains of around 14 horsepower with the high flow after cat X pipe – and BBK will have an off road cat eliminator system out shortly for even more horsepower gains – Look for the full installation and test article in the upcoming 5.0 and Super Fords Magazine written by Tom Wilson.
The headers are available as usual in 3 different finishes – Full Chrome – $349.99– Silver ceramic coated – $449.99 and 304 stainless – $499.99

Wrong! They are some of more affordable headers on the market...I've had a set on my Cobra for years and love them...the install can be kinda pricey, but se la vie for performance!

Does anybody know when they will be releasing or if they will be releasing a header and x-pipe system for 2011 Ford Mustang V6... BBK offers some great products and would be very interested if they were available!!

any feedback on these yet? "bbk" is too short of a string to search for on this site, and there are virtually no threads about headers in the 2011 section.

I would wait for a company like kooks or american racing headers to come out with a set. ive not been impressed with bbk headers.

kooks has. i have used kooks and they are in my opinion the best out there.
