The
All Ford Mustangs Car Show, held on Oct 2nd of this year, was by all accounts a great time for participants and visitors alike, with some of Newfoundland's greatest original pony cars filling Bowring Park. But as much fun as it was, it was not the best part of the event. That came several weeks later when the local Newfoundland and Labrador chapter of AllFordMustangs.com (NL Mustangs) cruised over to the Elaine Dobbin Autism Centre in St. Johns and presented Ms. Dobbin with a $6,000 cheque for the Newfoundland and Labrador Autism Society.
On hand was Harry “Herk” Phillips, the salesman who broke a million Mustang hearts in 1964 when he sold Mustang No. 1 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Ms. Dobbin made a special presentation to Herk on behalf of All Ford Mustangs. And it didn’t end there .....
