So sad to hear of Mr. Shelbys passing ......I was shocked to hear this today. he was a true automotive icon . Considering he was 89 yes old and had a heart transplant, 10 years ago, he did very well.God bless!

Man i just found out yesterday that carroll passed away he well be missed by many automotive enthusiasts, his legend lives through mustangs and im a proud owner and someday i hope ill own one of this mans master pieces.

Me and a buddy of mine were actually talking about Carroll last thrusday night about how great of a person he is, considering he's one of the biggest legends in all american muscle history. Im very sad to hear of his passing and hope soon ill be able to own one of his creations "Shelby mustang" soon, new or old. Carroll was my role model, and i have looked up to him since i was little and always will rememeber him everytime i drive my mustang. As one of my friends said " God had carroll on this Earth to build the greatest cars on Earth, but now God wants him to build these beautiful cars for heaven where Shelby cars truely belong", and besides the man live one hell of a good life. the man is my inspiration and the legend will live on and on for generation to generation. Wow... i was in class and it was all quiet till i pulled up AFM and saw carroll shelby pass away...

My heart is broken :'(
Shelby Mustangs were the exact mustangs that i dreamed off and made me an enthusiast in the first place.

I remember my grandpa pull up in his 69' Shelby Mustang GT350 and oh how i feel in love with the entire Mustang line since that day

Carroll Shelby will be missed and will have a moment of silence everytime i turn on my pony

i was blown away to here of his passing. didn't see anything about it till i was looking for his address so i could send a letter my 14 yr old wrote to him. i told him if you write it he would wright him back. because that how the man was. our heart felt wish go out to Mr.Shelby's family. god speed my friend god speed....

It is a shame that so many legends are passing away. This is a great blow to the automotive enthusiast crowd around the world. I hope he is in Heaven getting ready to race one of his beauties against one of Enzo Ferrari's right now.
