New Logo with a New Look
We celebrated the Holiday’s early by giving our site a snappy new Logo, and in addition to our normal features like our Mustang Forums, Gallery, Classifieds and Product Reviews, we added and updated other areas. Getting around the site has gotten easier too. Navigation has been simplified. No more clunky drop down menus means you can run your mouse over an area and see everything quickly and up front. All of these exciting features and more are available when you register for a free membership account with AllFordMustangs.com.
Announcing AFM’s New “Featured Member” Contest
AFM is pleased to announce a brand new “Featured Member” contest starting the first week of 2008. Members will vote on each other’s profile pages to determine the lucky winner, who will then receive a cash prize and “Featured” on our site’s homepage. To be eligible to win: register and fill out our simple profile with a picture of yourself, an avatar and information along with photos of your Mustang ride. Our first “Featured” winner will be announced January 7th., 2008.
Feedback
You spoke, we listened. Our site has been upgraded. No more slow time-outs; no more slow servers. The upgrades on our new site have provided us with extremely fast load times. We have upgraded to a new load balancing cluster solution that includes a number of different servers. All traffic is now evenly distributed and shared among a large number of servers to make slow page loading a thing of the past.
New Forums
Those of you who have been with us for a long time know and love our Mustang forums. Now AFM has added several new forums.
“Wheels and Tires” gives visitors a chance to ask questions of our experts, and provides a fresh look at the newest offerings in custom tires, rims and accessories.
“Sponsors Forums” gives our members a way to find out what special offers and discounts are being offered by our supporting sponsors.
“Multimedia Support” gives our members an opportunity to get help if they are having trouble with posting their favorite picture, creating a new avatar, or advise on how to set things up within their member profile.
“News and Announcements” our visitors and Mustang community a way to easily stay up to speed on the latest Mustang and site news.
Members Only Deals
Our new Sponsors Forum will give members exclusive access to special deals on parts, accessories and other hard-to-find Mustang items. It will be a place for great deals, special value parts and service pricing available only to AllFordMustangs members. This exciting new feature will help our members save money and support our community by doing business directly with our sponsors.
New Staff
The professionalism and expertise you will here on AllFordMustangs is second to none. In keeping with this tradition, we have expanded our staff to include several new moderators and editorial staff to help maintain that level of service to our Mustang community and ensure our members are up to date and current on all the latest Mustang news and events.
