The NASCAR Nationwide Series will see new cars, including the debut of the new NASCAR Mustang, take to the track at Daytona for Friday's Subway Jalapeno 250. That's what I'm saying...you can throw on any graphics you want, but it's stil the same shell. Hell, why not throw on some NASA graphics and call it the space shuttle?? Where did you go, Dodge Daytona, Ford Torino Talladega, etc, etc??

The "stock" cars need to go back to stock bodies. It would be great to see actual cars racing instead of the stamped out ones they use now.

In the past, all the bodies had to fit the same body template, front to back, side to side. Think a little of that might be changing with these new ones.

agreed, they need to buy the stock bodies from the manufaturer and then do the mods like in the old days. i would even like to see half of the races be legend races, where they have to run replicas of the old cars but with some modern mods and engines. it would be such a blast to see an old # 43 dodge or #21 merc run dega or daytona. it would be so cool.

that would be too good for todays standards and would contradict nascars 2 million rules they had to make up for "fairness." even though they know thats what we all want, im still pleased to hear that the challenger and mustang are one step closer to being on the track. and even though its still only the shell; this is the step forward we needed to progress the real thing. all we need now is chevys camaro in the run. the impala just wont work with the w body platform.
