What was Ford thinking with the changes to the '13 GT???
Absolutely killed the front end! The hood has absolutely no personality. Very dull and lifeless. Even though the hood vents are functional, they look out of place. The front fascia reminds me of an anteater...lol!! Terrible!!! The '10-'12's look WAYYYYYYYYY better!!!

Test Drove a 2013 GT/CS: Comparison
So yesterday, I stopped by my Dealership (where I bought my 2011 GT/CS), as I always like to see what the Ford dealerships have on their lot, and I stop most of the time just to look, and sometimes get something new for mine.
Of course a salesman arrived right away on my tail and I told him right from the start that I'm just looking, I already have one that I bought from them 1 year 1/2 ago (surprisingly none of the salesmen are still there since I got mine. |

2001 GT Auto. Feels underpowered???
I have had this car for a month or so, and it is bone stock. It feel, to me, underpowered. I dont know if it is because it is an automatic or what. My pervious 2 mustangs have been 5 speeds, and my 95 i had was for sure faster. I know i had some mods done to it, but it was rated at 215hp from the factory, where as this 01 is rated at 260hp. so i would figure this one would feel as quick. You can see my signature as to what mods i had done to my 95.

What do I need to do to Stop Missing Shifts?
OK, I have been driving Manual Shift Cars probably longer than some of you have been born, Unfortunately, for my old guy sake...lol
But when I am Accelerating Hard with my '12 5.0 I always seem to miss shifts, usually not get into right gear, Hard to get in Gear etc.. When I'm just normal driving it shifts very well, never an issue... So what do I need to do to stop this? 1.) Learn How to Drive it better? 2.) New Shifter Bracket? 3.) New Shifter? 4. |

Drive or Restore, What would you do?
Big question for the Mustang people.
Fix a few issues to be drive-able again or bite the bullet and rebuild it from the ground up even on a tight budget? I drove my Mustang home about 80 miles and ran great, then small issues came up. First a starting issue if you seem my other post about starting on its own. Well after new parts that has stopped but other things came up during the repairs. Seems like I am chasing it after fixing one thing I notice two more. |

Is brand loyalty dead with the younger guys?
Not intended to be a troll post, but I'm on several boards, and one of them is dedicated to the FE Ford engine family.
Most of the guys who are into these engines are hard core Ford guys, and have been for many years, like myself. I put this same question to them about brand loyalty, and it was nearly 100% Ford across the board for performance, hobby cars. However, on some other MUSTANG forums I see quite a few guys putting ls engines in the Fox Mustangs, and while I do know their thinking on this, I do know that a well built 5. |
