Hey! canada..fellow canadian here, in ontario...anyways to the good and the bad.... I have a 1987
stang edelbrock cam and heads mac shorties, Pro. M mas air flow and what not...anyways shes got to pass the emissions test between now and the 25 of oct.
took it for a test and it came back FAIL...main reason, hight (HC's) too high.. checked the computer and it came back with 23 - TPS and 33 EGR and 41, 91 -- O2 sensors. now my problems is iam not sure what to fix, i know the TPS is not causing the rich mixture, and the EGR I fixed it i think but it keeps telling me that the circuit is not sending a signal which circuit i dont know, the computer circuit, or the actuated vales attached with vacuum lines. It seems to work thou. so iam left with the O2 sensor, do you think, that this could solve the problem??? with HC's and Co2 levels.. Or should i get a new exhaust with new cats. on the test the only thing that passed was the NO2 levels...this is the cats job..are they working ???.
any help plz would be great...if not here...at my email.
