Default forged internals? 2005 Mustang GT

i want to supercharge my 2005 mustang gt i would like to have around 500-600 hp . I've been reading a lot of the threads in here and everyone says anything over 450 needs to be forged... is a completely new block needed or can you just swap out the heads and pistons?

Its the crank, rods and pistons that need to be forged. Dude 6hunge is a lot of power. you are not just going to simply slap on a blower and acheive that. If you are going to try to put that kind of power down...get ready to upgrade every part between the radiator and rear bumper. I suggest you read everything you can get your hands on and ask the boss for an early Christmas bonus. It sound like you have some homework to do.

Going into the shop this winter, looking for 650 RWHP.
