Question Allen Engine Dev Rev II


Does any one use AED Rev II kit for their late model Stang or T-Bird. I am planning to purchase one for my 01 GT in a month or so..

What I would like to know is the power gains you expericed, how it feels and what gears you are using. I have choosen the Rev II because I want the low end grunt a roots style blower will produce. The application is for a street car not a drag car. Also if you are using the Saleen II kit I would like to hear from you too.

I would appreciate all suggestions and criticisms . Please include pics...

Yeah the roots S/C's are not to popular due to the fact you can get an easier and most of the time faster combo with the centrifugical (spelling?) blowers unless you are top fuel. But I'm not looking for a drag car just one that is super fun to drive. Since I first posted this thread Kenne Bell has posted on thier website that they will be releasing a twin screw beginning of April for the 96-03 GT. So I have decided to postpone my purchase till I have more info on the Kenne Bell. Twin screw's are more efficient in air charege temp and parasitic drag than the roots blower. I will purchase one of the two just depends on witch kit is most complete.

The Allen kit is not bad, but i would definately wait on the Kenne Bell.
