Oldman, let me be the first to apologize...I was trying to help others but helped muck up your thread in the process. I just hate to see false information being spread and tried to correct it in the hopes that people considering nitrous wouldn't be misled.

I have no personal problem with 96TT, but he said a couple things that simply weren't true and I felt the need to step in.

Unfortunately I can't give you any accurate estimates on times with your Zex kit, but I can say that I've heard of a lot of people running that kit successfully. Once again, I recommend that you go to StangNet.com because there are several 4.6 and 5.0 guys over there running the Zex kit with good results. Aside from a couple horror stories that I've heard about it, it seems to be a nice beginner's kit that is easy to install and is supposedly one of the safest kits on the market.

Sorry again...I think when people want to talk smack they should use email or some other private form of communication, but I was partially at fault in this case. Good luck with whatever route you take!

The Zex kit is fine but I would go with a NOS kit myself.

The guy 96TT is way off so dont listen to none of the stuff he has said. For a guy with a 9 second car you sure dont know sh!t about nitrous. I guess a dry kit is the way to go, thats why all the guys in NMRA and FFW run them. LOL.

I've would get the NOS Dry kit... That's what I ran and it worked damn good. I felt the need to add a few things about nitrous. I wasn't trying to attack anyone. I was just adding a few facts and opinions. I think it started when I first added my opinion on the 200-400 "DRY" shot of nitrous. There are kits that produce that kinda power, but not any dry kits I've ever heard of.

99 and up NOS dry kit part number 05116NOS worked great for me... I only had it for a week. But it was great while I had it . It was pretty easy to install also. If you want some more info on this kit, PM me and I'll tell ya... I don't wanna start another flame war.

i have not even read the first page of this thread. So if any flame wars happened, i dont know about it. I was too lazy to read page one. As far as my comment on them, I just meant it towards everyone and enforced the warning after my last post. haha. So it's all good bro.

I agree Good luck on the kit that you decide on or if you do.
I just have to express the truth something's that's all period.

Mana4real I'm happy to hear you run a NOS Dry Kit and you
got awesome HP gain's with it.I don't want flames to be either
but,I must defend the truth. The people of the NHRA use dry
kit's because they know what will give the best TQ gain and
that's awesome you are open mined and realize that their are
kit's that will give huge HP gain like that.A Zex kit should
probaly give you a one to one half second's off your e.t.'s.
I know for sure with NOS you will be in the two second range
for sure! FACT not fiction.

Actually they dont....They'l use a fogger type system or else a plate.
I ran a NOS dry kit for years on my 95GTS had no probs w/ the kit it's self the only prob i ever had was when my #7 injector was shutting down when the fuel psi went up w/ the N2O.But now i've upgraded tp a wet kit.."
oh ya TT you need to get ur classes right. And also i have a Nitrous car that would love to sit down w ur little "Turbo Terror" LOL

the ZEX kit will be fine, you can run the full 125 shot, just upgrade your fuel pump and get a window switch.

on a side note: a wet kit will make more power than a dry kit, simply because most wet kits are rated at the wheels, not the flywheel, their jets simply supply more juice.

NOS makes a kit for 96-98 modulars, but the biggest shot for the dry kit is 150hp.

Their NOSzle direct port kit includes up to a 300 shot, but Big Shot is only for 5.0/carbed apps.

Listen to imyourzero, what he's sayin is right.

I've seen far more positive comments about NX than I have negatives.

Thanks, I don't know why it was like pulling teeth to get people to realize that.

All everyone know's is about commercial nitrous kit's and everyone
know's squat about Custom Nitrous kit's that make serious RWHP.
Fast one I love to see good competition so,I'm up to any challenge.
If your Mustang isn't running anything less than 1500RWHP don't
challenge my because if we raced you would be the arm pit of
joke's with or without NOS.The FACT is you have jealousy toward's
me so,that prove's how sorry you really are so,don't be in denial.
Bring your Nitrous car. When you launch off the line the only car
WILL BE sitting is your Nitrous car "TRYING" to make power when
your the one spinning your tire's.The only people how would be laughing
is at you and your Nitrous car.I earned my name TT by track experence
and being known for running a fast car at the track.People have
respect for me because I show no mercy to my opponent at the strip
and know what FORD RACING is all about from track knowledge.

man, you are an idiot. custom nitrous kits? what the hell is so custom? theres a bottle, lines, solenoids, and jets. anyone who knows anything about nitrous knows that NX makes some of the beefiest and best solenoids out there. just from reading your post I can tell your track experiences consist of sitting in the bleachers.

please, stop talking, you only look dumber.

ps. show me your 1500rwhp dynosheet.
