You know. For a minute there I was very proud of you all. Everyone could see this was getting ugly. The apologies came out and everyone was cool. What happened?!?!?

If you can’t offer info with out slamming each other, I will have to end this thread. I don’t want to do that! Everyone had some good info, but there is more flaming then info. It is very easy to disagree with someone without flaming. Think about what you are going to reply with. Ask yourself, would you like it if it were said to you? Then post!

Let’s respect each other. Everyone has an opinion. You don’t have to agree, but respect their opinions PLEASE!

yes, you'll be fine with the ZEX kit, but like I said in my above post, upgrade your fuel pump and run a window switch. you'll also want to back timing down to 8 degrees and run colder plugs.

i'd also look into investing in a set of drag radials to maximize traction. if you think you spun all motor, wait till you're juiced. you've possibly got 13s in your car N/A. I went 14.45@96.6 with a 2.25 60ft on 2.73s and street tires, so with your 4.10s and drag radials you could easily hit low 14s. With nitrous and drag radials high 12s are a possibility.

Well I guess you missed my post, it was the first reply to your question, yes I have a 5.0, but I have had great success with ZEX and would be willing to offer opinions and advice...just do me a favor and PM me. lol I ran a 100 shot, and it made 86 rwhp, and 105 foot pounds of torque at the rear wheels, low bottle pressure due to the cold. I took a full second of my et, so yes I like it. As far as kit preference, all the kits come wih good and bad...as I'm a knucklehead when it comes to install, the ZEX kit was perfect, everything n one neat liitle package, no solenoids to hook up. Splice it into the tps and bang your off and running. I have friends with NOS/Edelbrock systems, and they love them, but for a two-three hour install, that kind of power for $500 I'm happy. Maybe later on, when used to the nitous world, I may switch to a wet kit?
