I just installed a Tial Wastegate/Blowoff valve combo in my car, after using the car for a while I noticed the boost increased by almost 2psi (a lot) but I could hear the blower surgeing at partial throttle, I ahve not touch the wastegate yet because I wanted to test the BOV first to then start playing with an smaller pulley and changing the boost.
After talking t6o several people I concluded that the surge was not healthy but going back to the procharger's bypass would make the car leak boost again, so I went to a friends of mine speed shop and installed a Ultra-gate 7psi IN White spring (part number FG-WG38-SP07IN) and basically Converted the Tial BOV 50mm into a Bypass! is working even better than the stock procharger's Bypass, it is larger and not even at hint of surge regardless of the throtte position.
I hope you guys find this useful, and I will post the details of how the wastegate works as soon as I install the smaller pulley and do the baseline dyno.
Thanks...
