I got mine for $300 off of a Cummins desiel engine. $4500 later and it was on my car rebuilt. It was cheaper than spending $6000 for a new one from BDS.

Parts in the basement : To much to list. heres a hint..it involves a watts link and turbos.
I bought mine knowing that it was bad. What I did, was ask for a rebuildable blower core. Getting one rebuilt was much cheaper than getting a new blower. Add in all of ther acc. and it was $1500 cheaper. It was a little more hassle than going to BDS and getting a kit.

if you buy any supercharger DO NOT buy a powerdine. They are internally belt driven and suck. The belts break, and expand makings them useless. My freind bought a powerdine SC for his V6 and is only lasted 2 months and the belt broke. The funny thing is that Ford Racing of all companies sell them!? After about 3000 miles a 8 psi SC will be a 4 psi SC becasue of belt sterching. I hope this elemenates a few choices.
hmmm you know im a fan of ATI too but you know the new power dynes are gear driven now. ive ridden in a a car with a x1 all i can say is holy $hit. he's got 2500 miles on it now with no issues. so maybe they may redeam them selves.

1993 mustang GT-
A couple of things about your comment. Number one, not all belt driven Powerdyne's break. I know a few people whose Powerdyne has lasted quite a long time. One of them had 55,000 miles before he had it rebuilt even though it had yet to let go (just being safe). Another is approaching 80,000 miles. I sold mine with 6,000 miles, it had 41 dyno runs, some quarter mile time (9 runs to be exact), and many freeway blasts without so much as a hiccup. It's still going strong with the new owner. With that being said, the belt driven Powerdyne is entry level, performance limited, and obviously can be prone to breakage (you never know what your're going to get). Also, upgraded internal belts and bearings are aviable on the aftermarket if needed.
Number two, I gaurantee you my Powerdyne will never break an internal belt. Why is that? Powerdyne makes a gear driven blower capable of 1200cfm and 18psi, the XB-1a. The blower makes great power and is the equal of an S-trim or P1SC. With my basic old school combo, my last dyno hit 446rwhp at 5700rpm before the spark blew out. Would probably have peaked around 460rwhp with no sign of slowing down. I saw 12.5 psi with an 10-11lb set-up, including powerpipe. The XB-1 is quite capable.
I'm not a huge Powerdyne supporter, not quite the most professional company out there, and I never recommend one to anybody unless it's a Powerdyne BD-11A owner looking to upgrade. My point is to present accurate info on Powerdyne and not second hand or inaccurate info.

2. I'll buy the first round.
3. I'll take the ugly one.
Ijust thought thatIwould clear myself on the powerdyne thing Iwas thinking p1sc because it comes with an intercooler I would deffinitely buy an xb1a. I have heard of those. They sound like a good deal.
